You already know something's off, you've probably even asked ChatGPT about it. It's always the same argument, the same thoughts spiralling, the same reaction you swore you'd stop having... "What am I doing wrong!?!? Why can't I feel better!?"
Therapy here is about understanding why this keeps happening, and actually doing something about it!
This is why I work with both Schema Therapy and CBT, one without the other only gets you halfway there. Schema Therapy goes beneath the surface, tracing your patterns back to where they were formed. CBT works in the present, reshaping the thoughts, reactions, and behaviours, that keep pulling you into the same cycles.
One brings the insight, the other brings the action. Together, they're how things actually shift, and it's a pretty powerful combination.
